Around 10:00AM on Wednesday, I got the call. The two non-mature eggs that we believed had a chance did not mature. So I’ll out of the three eggs that were mature, all three fertilized naturally!
They’re hopefully growing and splitting and becoming strong babies to be transferred. I don’t know when the shift happened, but I think as soon as they fertilize, they become my babies. I don’t know how to stop this from happening, but I love them so much and they’re just in a Petri dish.
I will get a 3-day update on Friday with their cell count and grade. I have one more than last time – something for which I am so thankful.
The waiting is hard.
Also, the cramping from this endometrioma that was mostly sucked out but is still processing is more painful than last time.
